Know the Work Area
Adobe Premiere Pro
Outline of Adobe Premiere Pro environment consists of three main parts, namely:
1. Project Window, which is at the top left.
2. Monitor window, which is at the upper right.
3. Timeline Window, located at the lower left.
4. Tools Window, located at the lower left.
Project Window
Project Window is where you save the clip / footage (term for files that are used in digital video production) in the form of image files, audio, and video title that will be used in the editing process. Project Window has two parts: Project tab that lists the clip and the Effects Tab contains a list of audio effects, audio transitions, video effects and video transitions.

monitor Window
Monitor Window consists of the Source Monitor Window and Sequence Monitor window, on the left is the Source Monitor window, while the right is the Sequence Monitor Window. Source Monitor window is very useful in the process of trimming the video later, and Sequence Monitor Window is used to preview your edits on the Timeline.

timeline Window
Timeline Window is a place to prepare and put the clip / footage for later editing. Named timeline for work on time (horizontally), while the Timeline vertically divided into "tracks", which consists of video and audio tracks. Adobe Premiere Pro uses SMPTE format in units of time. SMPTE (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers) is an organization of people of international film and television. Unit is based on the SMPTE format Hours: Minutes: Seconds: Frames. For example, position 00: 05: 15: 19 means we are at the 5th minute, seconds and frames-15 to-19. With this format we will know the duration of a movie.

Rolling Edit Tool, Scratch Rate Tool, Razor Tool, Tool Slip, Slide Tool, Pen
Tool, Hand Tool, Zoom Tool that will be widely used in video editing process.
